What Fluxed can handle
This page keeps the main homepage clean while listing the current formats Fluxed supports and the common reason people use each one.
Current support
Icons & Cursors
Create multi-resolution ICO/CUR files, favicon PNG packs (16–512 + Apple touch), export icons back to raster images, or trace simple logos to monochrome SVG.
Images
Image formats including JPEG variants, SVG, animated formats, Apple HEIC/HEIF, and JPEG XL where the browser can decode or encode it.
Audio
Audio inputs and outputs handled in-browser with FFmpeg-backed conversion. Trim a time range, or drop video files to extract audio.
Video containers
Best-effort in-browser remux/transcode via the same FFmpeg WASM build (capped resolution, slow, size-limited). Short clips can export as GIF. Soundtrack-only extraction stays on the Audio tool.
Data
Structured data conversion for quick import, export, and spreadsheet workflows. Source format is auto-detected when you drop a file. ODS and XLSX are export-only.
Archives
Repackage ZIP, 7Z, RAR, TAR, TGZ, CPIO, and related formats locally via libarchive (WASM).
Ebooks
Offline subset only: EPUB, CBZ, and PDF with best-effort fidelity. MOBI/AZW/LIT and similar are omitted (no client codec).
Fonts
Client-side SFNT ↔ WOFF wrapping. WOFF2 and EOT are deferred (need specialised WASM). TTF↔OTF outline rewrite is not supported.
Presentations
Text extract from PPTX/ODP only. KEY, DPS, and legacy PPT are not available offline here.
Documents and PDF
Document workflows including Microsoft Office, OpenOffice, LibreOffice, HTML, Markdown, and PDF (rotate, delete pages, reorder, real page render to PNG/JPEG/WebP via pdf.js). Word source format is auto-detected on drop.
